Have been working professionally for over ten years as an erosion control specialist for large-scale linear construction projects. Bought this book for shitz’n’giggles because I felt I knew it all. I’ve only skimmed through a few sections of it, and just from that I learned things I didn’t know. This book not only covers techniques for restoration and minimizing erosion/sedimentation, but it also goes a step further in explaining scientific principles governing hydrodynamics, soil science, and how they interact under variable environmental conditions. Can’t wait to find time to sit back and read it front to back. I got it on sale for $17 and have seen it since priced at $85’ish. Naturally I’m even more elated to have purchased this book at such a discounted rate. This appears to be a high-level textbook for a collegiate curriculum. Highly recommend.Product details
